Mohab Ali Al Hinai

Mohab Ali Al Hinai is a seasoned technology professional with a passion for research and development, and extensive experience in technology assessment. He possesses nearly two decades of experience in the field. Dr. Al Hinai began his career by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Sultan Qaboos University, where he later joined as a faculty member. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware.

Throughout his career, Dr. Al Hinai has been recognized for his contributions to the field. He was a member of a team that was awarded a patent for developing a novel tool that facilitates the fixation of inorganic carbon by an essential group of industrial bacteria.

After a successful career in academia, Dr. Al Hinai made the transition to industry, where he is currently spearheading multiple initiatives aimed at supporting Oman's transition to a more sustainable economy. In addition to his impressive academic credentials, Dr. Al Hinai holds professional certificates in Financial Planning and Analysis, Sustainable Capitalism and ESG from the University of California at Berkeley, and a certificate in Leading and Building a Culture of Innovation from Harvard Business School.
