Sustainable Investments Co-founder to take part in Middle East Agri-Food Forum  

Muscat, Oman – August 25, 2021

As part of the upcoming Middle East Agri-Food briefing taking place next month, Dr. Mohab Ali Al Hinai, co-founder of SI will be taking part as one of the panelists. The Middle East Agri-Food Briefing will bring together government agencies, sovereign wealth funds, VCs and other private companies working in the field of food technology together to explore how to best establish a vibrant agri-food innovation ecosystem across the GCC to ensure a food-secure future.

The event will kick-off with a keynote speech by the UAE Minister of State for Food and Water Security, HE Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri. The panelists also include Prince Khaled Bin Al Waleed, founder and CEO of KBW Ventures, as well as other industry experts from across the GCC.

Dr. Al Hinai will take part in the session titled “Building the Agri-Food Ecosystem Across the GCC” alongside fellow panelists Hasan Haidar, Founder & Managing Partner, +VC, Bahrain; Tarifa Al Zaabi, Director General, ICBA, UAE; Sky Kurtz, Co-Founder & CEO, PURE HARVEST, UAE and Kevin Cullen, VP Innovation, KAUST, Saudi Arabia. Yasin Aboudaoud, Chief Development Officer & Managing Partner at BRINC, Bahrain, will moderate the session.

The Middle East Agri-Food Briefing: Accessing New Market Opportunities is part of the World Agritech Innovation Summit, the Middle East themed forum will take place on September 27.
